Introduction

Following the success of Masters of Comedy in 2018, Toy Factory Productions Ltd is proud to present Masters of Comedy 2 this year! Masters of Comedy 2 is a light-hearted talk show which arcs across the five main Chinese dialects – Cantonese, Hokkien, Hainanese, Teochew & Hakka!

Written by Koh Teng Liang and directed by Goh Boon Teck alongside Music Director August Lum, Masters of Comedy 2 combines various elements of comedic dialogue and stand-up comedy, with songs and dance accompanied by a live band. The performance features a stellar cast of local actors, Wang Wei Liang, Sebastian Tan, Judee Tan, Jo Tan, Ho Ai Ling and Sugie Phua. Come and be entertained by the story of three modern elites who have no knowledge about Chinese dialects and traditional culture, as they attempt to learn and understand the history and culture of their own Chinese dialects!
